Since the
WebRing has been Growing in leaps and yawns, I though it might be
a good idea to put together a list of other Galaxy Quest fan sites!
Ren
Kishida's Japanese Galaxy Quest Fan Page This is a Japanese Language page with the best
Galaxy Quest cartoon illustrations! Even if you can't read
it, it's well worth to check out!
GalaxyQuest
Home A German Language Page... Hmmm some of
those graphics look familiar :)
Other
Sci-Fi Fantasy Sites
Believe
or not, there are other fan sites that are not about Galaxy Quest
:) Here's a select few!
The
Adventures of Captain Zoom in Outer Space Five years before Galaxy Quest,"The
Adventures of Captain Zoom in Outer Space" asked would
happen if aliens mistook TV actors for real heros... This time of a 1953
"Captain Video" type series. This was the only sites on
the net for this wonderful TV pilot.
BattlestarGalactica.com Speaking from personal experience :), It's not all that
unusual to find fans obsessed with bringing back or sequeling a series
or movie... But it's a truly rare thing when it's one of the
actors! Richard Hatch, who played "Apollo" in the
1979 series "Battlestar Galactica", has created his own
Galactica revival site... and you though "Star Trek:
Excelsior" was a long shot!
Hatch, after years
of been accused of having a huge ego, wanting to take over the
Galactica franchise, and basically being told repeatedly "When hell
freezes" by all those that hold the series and movie rights,
continues his epic battles to win fan (and studio) support for his
vision of Galactica's future. Whether you chose to laugh at or
applaud his efforts, it's an interesting site to check out.
IRWIN
ALLEN NEWS NETWORK Information on all Irwin Allen Series... Such as
"Lost in Space", "Voyage to Bottom of the Sea", and
"Land of the Giants"
Trying to
keep up a comprehensive listing of Trek sites is a lot like cataloging
grains of beach sand in a hurricane... There are a billions of them,
most of them are pretty much the same and they come and go with every
change in winds :) No don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great
trek related fan sites out there, to prove it, Here's a select few
of the most Unique!
This is definitely a must see site!. A group of fans have
come together and are producing their own "Season 4"
mini series of the original Star Trek! While it's a bit rough is
spots, You really got to applauded for all they've
accomplished! Good going guys! (You got'a love fandom!)
The
Excelsior Campaign Take Star Trek, mix in a Great Idea, season liberally
with shortsighted studio execs and you get a grass roots fan movement!
TREKWEB.COM
